552 WEEKS ARTISTS DROP 2026 is an independent and pioneering digital art project organized by NFTCanarias, which builds an international community of digital artists and collectors. Each week, during the 52 weeks of 2026, a selected digital artist presents their work on the blockchain, gaining global visibility and connecting with collectors from around the world.
The project aims to foster collaboration among artists from different regions, support new talents in the crypto art scene, and build an international network of collectors committed to digital art.
PROJECT DINAMICS
Each week, one artist, one work on the blockchain, and a group of collectors.
This is 52WAD: a space where artists are welcomed, respected, listened to, and collected.
Each participating artist presents two works during the year.
Each work is released as an Open Edition for 1 Tezo, available for one week only.
During this period, the artist shares their creative process and presents their project in a Twitter Space, giving way to the next creator.
By the end of the year, we will have presented 26 artists and completed a collection of 52 unique pieces, which together represent a contemporary vision of digital art on the blockchain.
ARTISTS
In 52WAD 2026, 26 artists will participate, each presenting two works during the year, completing a collection of 52 unique pieces that represent the diversity and innovation of contemporary digital art on the blockchain.
Our project has focused on giving visibility to European, Latin American, and African artists, but it is open to any creator worldwide who wishes to tokenize their works and take part in this international experience.
The call for participation as a digital artist is open, and any interested creator can submit their proposal.
CURATOR
We are looking for a curator to collaborate in the selection of artists, the curation of works, and the development of the 52WAD 2026 collection.
The curator will select artists, guide the curation of the works, and coordinate the weekly Twitter Spaces, bringing a sensitive, innovative perspective connected to the new narratives of digital art.

FEATURED ARTIST
In each edition of 52WAD, we invite a featured artist to participate. This special artist presents an exclusive work that can be collected at the end of the event by collectors who have participated in the full collection.
This piece becomes work number 53, added to the collection of 52 works created by the participating artists throughout the year. The participation of a Featured Artist is a way to celebrate established talent in crypto art and to offer collectors the opportunity to complete the collection with a unique and exclusive piece.
THE COLLECTION
At the end of 52WAD 2026, the collection will contain 53 pieces, created by 26 curated artists and one featured artist.
If you collect the pieces each week throughout the year, the total investment will be 52 Tezos. Each work is released as an Open Edition, available for one week, with a limited series corresponding to the sales during that period. Once the week ends, the artist’s work typically increases in value.
Investing in this collection is not only a secure opportunity to acquire digital art, but it also supports emerging creators on the Tezos blockchain, fostering innovation and the growth of the crypto art community.
COLLECTORS
Being a collector of 52WAD 2026 means being at the forefront of digital art, supporting emerging creators, and building a digital heritage that combines cultural, artistic, and economic value. Each work in the collection is also an investment in the future of crypto art, fostering creativity and innovation on the Tezos blockchain.
Collecting each work in the collection allows you to complete the full collection, culminating with the acquisition of the exclusive piece by the featured artist. To collect, you will need a Tezos wallet and make a small investment in this cryptocurrency. With approximately $10, you can collect between 5 and 8 pieces of art.
The process is simple: just join our Twitter Spaces or follow our weekly emails, where we indicate which piece is available that week. Collectors use their own digital wallet to acquire the work. If needed, we provide support to guide you through the process and help you collect our pieces.

DROPS IN X-TWITTER SPACES
Each week, an artist will make one of his or her works available to collectors. This work will be an open edition in copies and will be available for collection for one week only. Once the week is over, this work will close its edition and a new artist will open a new edition. We present each of the new works every Sunday in a space on twitter.
